Flipkart Wishmaster

I live close to some of the famous beaches in Goa such as Anjuna, Baga, and Morjim with my mother, two sisters and my pet dog Twixty. One of my sisters works as a nurse, and the other works at a bike showroom.

Goa’s beauty needs no introduction, and my favorite spot is the Arambol Sweet Water Lake.
Being a Goan, I also love seafood. I can’t do without it!

I passed 10th standard and pursued a diploma in Hotel Management. I worked at a hotel in Goa right after, before making a career switch. I started working as a merchandiser at Jack Daniels where I worked for a year before switching to KingFisher.

We used to cater to all wholesale and retail shops in Goa. I was there for almost a decade. However, I decided to quit the job when there was a transfer that I couldn’t take up. This was when I found out about this role in Flipkart.

I started work as a Flipkart Wishmaster just a month ago. With the new role as a Wishmaster, I travel a lot in the town. I am still learning the ropes of the job, but it’s been an interesting journey this past month.

No matter which job I choose, I don’t discriminate between them. I like doing what is entrusted to me as well as I can.

When I joined Flipkart, their bike rental option was a game-changer. It saves me a significant amount of money on daily deliveries, sparing me the expenses of using my own bike. It’s one of the things I absolutely love about this program!

My dream is to explore hospitality career options in Western countries, but I have some goals before that and this job enables me to fulfill them.

Right now, I am trying to make enough money for both my sisters’ weddings. My mom and I look forward to hosting their weddings as beautifully and meaningfully as we can.

I used to be a habitual drinker. But when a health crisis hit, I realized the importance of taking care of myself. It’s been more than a year since I’ve been sober, and I’m really proud that I was able to do that.

These days, to unwind, I usually listen to music – especially Konkani and ’80s English songs. I also play games online – something I picked up during the pandemic lockdown. But what I love the most is spending time with my pet dog Twixty. She is a foodie and also knows a lot of tricks!

At our hub, with BBD, things are picking up pace. I have never seen such a festive environment at a workplace before. It’s exciting!
