Bengaluru – 20 March, 2026: Flipkart today announced that Sriram Venkataraman will be moving on from his role as Group Chief Financial Officer. Sriram will remain with the company for a period of time to ensure continuity and a smooth transition. During this period, Ravi Iyer, CFO, Flipkart, will oversee the broader finance organization.
Alongside this transition, Flipkart is also pleased to welcome Nishant Verman to the leadership team as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Partnerships, to further strengthen the function.
Flipkart Group CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy said, “Sriram has been a valued member of the leadership team and has played an important role in strengthening our finance organization over the years. We thank him for his contributions and wish him the very best for the future”.
“It has been a privilege to be part of Flipkart’s journey and to work alongside such a talented team. I am proud of what we have built together and wish the company continued success in the years ahead,” said Sriram Venkataraman.
Nishant rejoins Flipkart following his successful entrepreneurial venture, Bzaar, where he successfully scaled a cross-border exports platform to profitability, disrupting how US retailers source from India. He has a proven track record in Microsoft’s Corporate Development team and tech investment banking at Morgan Stanley, where he established a strong foundation of technical rigor and strategic execution.
We are pleased to welcome Nishant back to Flipkart.
Flipkart’s finance function across its businesses continues to be supported by experienced CFOs and finance leaders with strong governance processes in place. The company’s strategy, operations, and long-term priorities remain unchanged.
