The vision of our ‘Flipkart Samarth Krishi’ program reflects our dedication to supporting Indian farmers and overall enabling a boost to India’s agricultural sector. Our program aspires to provide national market access to India’s farming communities and Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs). By collaborating with various industry and government bodies, including Departments of Agriculture in states like Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, and West Bengal, we’ve onboarded FPOs onto our e-commerce platform. This initiative not only strengthens local agri-economies but also elevates the livelihoods of numerous farmers across India.

Moreover, the program emphasizes training and upskilling farmers in technologies and best practices, ensuring quality and capacity building. By covering a wide range of commodities such as rice, pulses, spices, atta, and millets, we aim to uplift the local economy and offer high-quality products to our vast consumer base of 500+ million consumers.

The ‘Flipkart Samarth Krishi’ program is about creating a significant positive impact. We’ve set ambitious goals, intending to engage with 2,500 FPOs by the end of 2023. We’ve already onboarded several FPOs and trained over 10,000 farmers, enabling them to expand their market reach and ensuring product quality and food safety standards. Through technology, innovation, and e-commerce, this program strives to accelerate India’s socio-economic development, benefiting everyone in the value chain, from farmers to consumers, and leaving a lasting impression on the Indian agricultural sector and rural communities.
