This November, the Flipkart Foundation hosted its annual event, Sampark 2024, on November 27 at the India Habitat Center, New Delhi. The event was more than just a gathering—it served as a platform to celebrate milestones, strengthen partnerships, and ignite conversations around impactful solutions.
With the theme Inclusive Pathways to Social Impact, the event brought together visionaries from non-profits, global organizations, and the private sector to spark transformative conversations on inclusive development aligned with India’s national goals and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The conference commenced with an inspiring address by Mr. Atul Satija, Founder and CEO of The/Nudge Institute & Give, and The Chief Guest, Mr. Dhanendra Kumar, IAS (Retd.), Former Chairman of the Competition Commission of India and Executive Director at the World Bank, highlighting the vital role of organizations like the Flipkart Foundation in fostering meaningful change.
Among the day’s highlights were the unveiling of the Foundation’s Annual Report and the Second Flipkart Foundation Compendium, showcasing its journey of empowering over 2.8 million lives through grassroots initiatives since 2022.

- AIACA has been instrumental in enabling women artisans to adopt sustainable practices, improving their livelihoods, and preserving India’s rich heritage of textiles and handicrafts.
- Haqdarshak has empowered over 1,400 entrepreneurs in Varanasi and Lucknow by enabling access to financial support through schemes like PM SVANidhi, fostering economic participation.
- SM Sehgal Foundation has transformed 60 villages in Haryana by educating youth on environmental conservation, inspiring them to lead sustainable practices within their communities.
- Smile Foundation along with the Flipkart Foundation launched industry-specific skill training programs, providing 220 hours of training tailored for underserved youth, with a focus on women and marginalized communities.
- Pratham Infotech in partnership with the Flipkart Foundation, has enrolled over 1,250 youth to develop key skills like problem-solving, collaboration, and communication, with women making up over 70% of the participants.
Furthermore, to foster actionable insights and collaborative strategies, the panel featuring Amit Kumar (UNDP), Mangesh Wange (Swades Foundation), and Rema Mohan (NSE Foundation) delved into empowering youth with skills for sustainable livelihoods, sparking ideas for transforming futures.
